Guerrera

Luxury Bottle Product Design
Class Project, 2023
-
“Guerreras” Tequila is a rebranding of the infamous Kah Tequila. The Kah brand originates from Mexico and mainly focuses on the cultural aspects of Mexican heritage. Their bottles embody the tradition of Dia de Los Muertos and reflects different ways the tradition is celebration within Latin America. The Guerreras rebranding still emphasizes Mexico but more of its historical aspect, specifically the Mexican Revolution and the woman who partook in it. Guerreras is a dedication and remembrance to the woman who fought and aided in the revolution. Guerreras refers to the Spanish word "female warriors" which reflects the woman of the revoltion. The bullet bottle symbolizes the perseverance the woman had when fighting in the revolution. Around the bottle are the names of actual female figures that fought in the revolution.

Ann Demeulemeester Boxset Luxury Backaging Project
Class Project, 2023

-
I'm a very big fan of Ann Demeulemeester and created a box set that included her infamous book and signature feather necklace. I researched her designs and developed the concept "Freedom in Humility" to create and bring together her ideas and journey through fashion. Her designs not only have a monotone color pallet, but some have an element of printmaking and texture. From this, I created my own printmaking pieces to use for the box set. I used the monotype printmaking technique to create prints and developed the feather print thats on top of the box.

Delites Cookies

HEB Packaging Project
Class Project, 2023
-
The Delites Cookies was a project based on rebranding of an existing product of HEB food. I decided I wanted the design to look classy yet still affordable. I wanted it to have a decorative design behind it to give it personality and not just promote cookies. I made three separate flavoring and kept them cohesive by maintaining a brand color (the cream accents in the design). To also keep them cohesive, I wanted the packaging to have a similar color scheme, to make it noticeable that the packaging was connected together. Some of the decorative elements were hand drawn by me and translated for the computer. The features are used throughout the design to maintain an overall look.
