Developing the pieces for show was an exciting process because it stemmed outside our regular design programs. We had to problem solve with every situation since life doesnt have a command “z”. The key to creating my pieces was research. Before beginning to build, I thoroughly investigated ways to commorate and reflect our time in the program. Figma’s Figjam was my bestfriend because it held all my brainstorm and allowed me to put all my train of thought into it. Building the pieces consisted of understanding material, dimensionality, and working with gallery representatives with install our pieces
Creating my booth was a personal dilemma. I had an intital skeleton but I didn’t think it truly reflected who I was as a designer. Instead of planning a new idea, I decided to let my subconsious mind do the work. When it was time to set up, I felt like a painter with a blank canvas, only being held by the easel of my thought. I tried different foramation until I ultimalety felt I had perfected my booth

The progress of creating the show was a time I would never forget. From staying long nights at school, to hot glue burns, to having stained blue hands on openning day; it was a process I would forever hold deeply in my heart. I really learned about taking in the world and making it out own.

-To create a basis for the design, I set a back panel for each individual scene that would be placed behind each scene and serve as a background. Each panel would have its own typographic design that would defy the emotion of the scene but still have a visual connection to the story and the production. I wanted to capture the ambiance of each scene that would reflect the nature of that particular moment in the story. The three scenes would be split into their own designs but still have a cohesive connection to each other. The scenes are split by primary colors because they are essential moments in the story, but are set in a hue that mesh well together.
